Changes to the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) came into force on June, 2018. The tool below assesses an individual’s score based on the new CRS points system used by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) as of June 2018.
Additional changes to the CRS were implemented as of Jan 2018. After completing the form below, users will be presented with their CRS points total as it would stand today, as well as a points total as it would be stand under the changes due to be implemented on June 6.

ABOUT THE IRCC CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System)
The CRS ranks eligible candidates for immigration to Canada through Express Entry under the following components:

core human capital factors;
-
accompanying spouse or common-law factors;
-
skill transferability factors; and
-
factors relating to a provincial nomination, Canadian study experience, or a qualifying job offer of arranged employment.
There are a total of 1,200 points available under the Comprehensive Ranking System. For candidates without an accompanying spouse or common-law partner, there are:

a maximum of 500 points available for core human capital factors;
-
a maximum of 100 points available for skill transferability factors;
-
600 points available for either a provincial nomination; or
-
up to 200 points available for a qualifying offer of arranged employment; or
-
up to 30 points for Canadian study experience, and
-
An extra 50 points for French Language Proficiency.
For candidates with an accompanying spouse or common-law partner, there are:

a maximum of 460 points available for core human capital factors of the principal applicant;
-
a maximum of 40 points for the core human capital factors of the spouse or common-law partner;
-
600 points available for either a provincial nomination; or
-
up to 200 points available for a qualifying offer of arranged employment; and
-
up to 30 points for Canadian study experience.
